BRS Successfully Defends Client in Uninsured Motorist Case

Livingston Parish, Louisiana – December 14, 2023.  Curt Rome successfully defended a un/underinsured motorist carrier against claims for damages.  The plaintiff sought damages from a defendant driver in the amount of $15,000 plus $30,000 in un/underinsured motorist coverage.  Rome helped convince the presiding trial judge that the plaintiff was partially responsible for the accident and that the plaintiff’s damages did not exceed $15,000 in order to collect any portion of the $30,000 un/underinsured motorist coverage from Barry, Rome & Scott’s client.
