BRS Secures Dismissal in Multi-Passenger Injury Case

Barry Rome & Scott is proud to announce that Stephen Barry successfully defended a complex personal injury lawsuit in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. The case involved allegations stemming from a 2015 motor vehicle accident in which the plaintiff and her minor children were passengers in a vehicle operated by the defendant.

Plaintiff claimed that the defendant lost control of the vehicle, struck another car, and ultimately collided with a light pole—allegedly causing injuries to both the plaintiff and her children. Despite the serious nature of the allegations and the potential exposure involved, Mr. Barry mounted a strategic and effective defense.

After careful litigation and legal briefing, the Court granted a dismissal of all claims. This result underscores the firm’s continued commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for its clients in high-risk litigation.
